BOOKING RULES

Let's face it - clubs operate better when everyone is on the same page and there are no ambiguities. So here are our rules, terms and conditions.

  • Bunks are now booked by bunk number.  To avoid any midnight confusion please stick to the bunk that you have booked.

  • Bookings will only be accepted from Senior Members who have paid their annual subs.  

  • No member may stay at the lodge without a confirmed booking.  Booking confirmation constitutes authority to stay at the lodge.

  • This 2018 season we are trialing not appointing a trip leader - so apply some common sense and work duties out between yourselves.

  • If you don't know what is expected of you, please ask.

  • For safety reasons, at least 2 Adults (one of whom must be a Senior Member) must be present at the lodge overnight throughout the period of your booking.

  • Provisional members should have at least 1 Senior Member present throughout their booking.  

Weekend bookings:

  • A booking for Friday night must also include Saturday night.  This is to accommodate members wanting to stay the entire weekend.

Guest bookings: 

  • Members have priority when booking over unconfirmed bookings for guests (non-members) up until 1 week before arrival

  • To allow a degree of forward planning Guests will be confirmed 1 week prior to the booking if there are bunks available. 

Age limit:

  • The minimum age for children staying at the lodge is 3 years old.

  • Younger aged children considered for whole lodge bookings or with consultation of others staying at the lodge.

  • Exemptions to the age limit will be considered on a case by case basis.

  • Please be mindful that the walls are thin and disruptive children, or noisy adults, can impact other guests time at the lodge.

 

Transfers and Cancellations: 

Bookings may be transferred or cancelled subject to the following restrictions:

  • No changes to bookings will be allowed within 48 hrs of the original booking date.

  • Cancellations within 72 hrs of the booked date will incur a 100% cancellation fee.

  • Multiple changes may incur an admin fee.

  • Any refunds will be at the Committee’s sole discretion.
